Über The Riverside Company
Riverside stellt sich selber wie folgt dar auf der Website:
When Béla Szigethy founded this firm from his apartment on Riverside Drive in 1988, he thought it was only honest to put “Company” in the firm’s name. That’s because “Riverside Partners” wouldn’t work – he was the sole employee – and “Riverside Capital” would stretch the truth – he hardly had any capital.
Béla began working in the smaller end of the middle market (SEMM) because The Riverside Company only had capital for small deals. More than 30 years, later, Riverside remains focused on the SEMM by choice.
When we started Riverside, we decided to practice the Golden Rule for selfish reasons – it let us sleep well at night and it was a nice way of doing business. As the decades have passed, we’re thrilled to see that living by the Golden Rule pays off in many ways.
Doing well by doing good sounds like a charity slogan, but we’ve learned that striving to leave great references in our wake brings a lot of success. It turns out that great people and companies want to work and partner with firms that share their values.
